1 - Where can I use your tracks?

Answer - You can use our tracks on pretty much anything, as long as they are synchronised with your production and are not used in isolation. Examples of where you can use our music include: film, television and radio broadcasts (programmes and commercials), multimedia presentations, video games, DVD productions, web sites, podcasts and ‘music on hold’.

There are no limits on the amount of times the music can be used. Back to Top

2 - Are your tracks 100% royalty free music?

Answer - Yes, our tracks are 100% royalty free music. You can use our music in your productions or use as ‘music on hold’ without paying any extra fees to us. As we don't subscribe to any royalty collection agencies you are able to include our music in broadcasts, podcasts and webcasts without paying any extra fees. Back to Top

3 - Is your music copyright free?

Answer - No, Tuned Up Productions remain the sole copyright owners of this music. You buy a license which gives you the right to use the music in your productions. Back to Top

Answer - All secure payments are handled by PayPal. Their checkout is 128bit encrypted and they are the leading Internet payment provider. Tuned Up Productions never receive any of your card details. Back to Top

6 - Do I get a VAT / TAX receipt?

Answer - Due to the complexity of independent country tax rates we do not charge VAT/TAX on your purchase, therefore you will not require a tax receipt as no tax is charged and thus no tax can be claimed back on products purchased from Tuned Up Productions. Back to Top

7 - What format are your tracks in?

Answer - Our previews are in MP3 format and will open in your default media player.  All previews are digitally ‘watermarked’ with a copyright voice message to help prevent piracy. They are also at a reduced quality setting of 22khz, stereo, 56kbps for faster downloading. Purchased files are in MP3 format at the highest quality setting of 44.1khz, stereo, 320kps and are not ‘watermarked’. Back to Top

8 - Do I have to fill in a cue sheet for use in broadcasts?

Answer - No, as we do not subscribe to any of the royalty collection agencies you are not required to file cue sheets when using our music. Back to Top

9 - Do I need to credit you on a production?

Answer - It's ultimately at your discretion, but we would greatly appreciate it if you can give us a credit for using our music. You can simply list us as 'Tuned Up Productions'. Our web address / web link would be a most welcome addition. Back to Top

10 - Can I use your music as backing for my own song?

Answer - No, you must only use the tracks in synchronisation with a production. You are permitted to edit tracks (i.e. cut, loop, fade etc) for this purpose only. You cannot alter tracks, or add vocals, then redistribute as your own music material. Back to Top

11 - I like your music, but I just can't find the right track I'm looking for on your web site.

Answer - If you just can’t seem to find the right piece of royalty free music, then maybe it's time to consider our custom music service.
